Airport, Accommodations, & Amenities
KSOP
Moore County Airport is the gateway to Pinehurst and Southern Pines, North Carolina. With a 6500 foot runway, multiple precision approaches, and modern terminal facilities, it provides a relaxed learning environment. As a non-towered general aviation airport with on field clearance delivery, taxi times are minimized so that training time is maximized.
With its low fuel prices, on field maintenance, and FAA Designated Pilot Examiners nearby, the airport is a turnkey solution for pilots training for an instrument rating or commercial certificate.
The Carolina Hotel
This majestic century-old hotel will make you feel as though you have stepped back in time.
